(Video) What Happens When Black Holes Collide

When Black Holes Collide would you want to be around?

This simulation of what it would look like if two black holes half the size of the Solar System smash into each other and then combine to make an enormous black hole. It was published in 2012 by NASA but is now getting more airplay from the European Space Agency (ESA) to market their new mission to explore the gravitational universe and potentially see gravitational waves talked about by the great Albert Einstein. The mission is due for take off in 2034 so there is a way to go yet.

Enjoy the video and don’t forget to share with friends

Although only a simulation this video gives you a good idea of what we would see (if you could see this) when two black holes collide and combine.
