| Was the Rubber Duck Comet Formed by A Low Speed Collision of 2 Bodies?
It has baffled Scientists for a while as the Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko photographed by the European Space Agencies Rosetta Craft looks more like a Rubber Duck than the standard misshapen entities normally seen. After an investigation it shows that the comet was formed in a collision between 2 separate nuclei which effectively stuck together. It’s two dirty ice-balls joined together in space by a long thick neck, the neck has worn away to a degree giving this Rubber duck appearance. The brand new video explains all of this and more.
